Introduce Yourself : Colour, shape and shadow by Louise Gregory

Hello everyone, I'm Louise, and I'm a lighting designer working in the North East of England. I'm also a writer. In my lighting designs I love to play with colour, shape and shadow, and I've started to use these ideas in my writing as well. My current projects are to light a bellydance stage show, and then lighting a show next year called 'FLOCK' which is based on 'The Conference of the Birds'. I'm also Production Manager for a version of 'Whistle Down the Wind' to be performed in a church. As far as the writing goes, I've got a couple of murder mystery plays to write, a couple of novels based on these that I'm currently researching, a short screenplay that I'm trying to edit, and a new play based on the lives of Houdini and D.D. Home, a Victorian spiritualist. Lots more research there, but I'm hoping to start writing that about Christmas-time. I'd love to meet more of you, share ideas, share work opportunities, share feedback.
