Introduce Yourself : Hi. I'm Coyote by J. Wiley Dumas (Coyote)

J. Wiley Dumas (Coyote)

Hi. I'm Coyote

Although primarily a fiction writer, I participate in 'the Living Theatre of History' as a 'Living Historian', educating the public on a monthly basis as a Civil War Reenactor . This has led to me writing the narratives and assisting in the production of 2 documentaries about the American Civil War, one of which has just been released. I am an avid aviator, still photographer, and have been involved in several other stage/film/television projects as technical consultant/actor. I am a decorated combat veteran of the United States Army, 101st Airborne Division, and have vast experience regarding weaponry, both modern and ancient. This has led me to filling roles as both Technical Advisor and Prop Master/Assistant for several productions. My writing runs the gamut of Action/Adverture, to narratives for historic documentaries, as well as assisting in dialogue. I have written portions of the narrative for 'Brice's Crossroads: When Grant Met Forrest', the story about the 'Scourge of the West', General Nathan Bedford Forrest and his raids against General Ulysses S. Grant's Army during the American Civil War, currently in Post-Production and due out next year (2013). I am currently the Host of the soon to be released Internet Series 'War Gear: An in-depth look at Historical Weaponry'. I am one of the featured participants in the Documentary 'Civil War Reenactors of New England', which has just been released on many of New England's Public Broadcast Systems. My Hobbies, other than Reenacting, are mostly centered around fishing, and restoring old, classic aircraft. I have no formal training in either acting or writing, these things come naturally to me, as I suppose it does to many. If this is a turn-off, then I apologize. The advantage is that I'm not so full of myself that I'm unwilling to learn and grow. I'm friendly and outgoing, and enjoy meeting people, a plus in any aspect of entertainment.
