As you might have guessed from my title line above I'm a bit of a poet on the side. My microdes (mini-poems) range from the quaint to the contentious, but they're just a diversion ... a little bit of fun. These days, I'm primarily a radio producer-presenter (BBC), independent author and feature writer by trade, but I used to be an actor and musician too. Sadly, my guitar playing and acting days were wiped-out some 20 years ago by the onset of Dystonic Tremor: a severe tremor condition affecting my hands, arms and head. But, hey! I'm hanging on in there, because I can still play a tambourine without even trying, and I live in hope of one day bumping into a director who's looking for someone to play a character with cerebral palsy, Parkinson's Disease or shell shock who just happens to possess a voice in a million! In the meantime, I'm delighted to have been introduced to Stage 32 by one of my thespian friends. It's good to be here!
