Greetings; I am an independent writer/producer in the San Francisco bay area. After more than 20 years both in front and behind the camera in the Los Angeles area, I returned to my home in the bay area. Best thing I ever did as I love the area and I can do most everything here via email, phone and an occasional visit South. At the present time, I have a gangster/comedy script in the Table Read Your Screenplay that has already received high marks from their coverage team. If I win, the script will be read at the Sundance Film Festival. In addition, I am working with two separate groups with projects in development that look very promising. Hi Carlo, thanks for reaching out, and congratulations on your progress in the script competition. I'm in prep on a somewhat ambitious short film, and also expanding the concept into a feature screenplay. It's entitled NEW and it's a sci-fi/drama about an elderly couple who choose to have their bodies cryonically preserved (frozen) when they die. It's a be-careful-what-you-wish-for kinda tale. I'm planning to crowdfund it. Given that I've had some success with my short films in the past (got distro & sold some DVDs) I think I have a small fan base to start from. We'll see. Right now I'm looking for a special-effect supervisor who can help me estimate the time & money I'll need to pull of the FX shots.
