Introduce Yourself : Hi Stage32 fellows! by Roshanna S. Evans

Hello, It's a crisp Sunday morning as I write from my perch in Spain. The sea is still and twinkling with her secrets. The rains have ceased. I've come to let you know I'm actually writing a book, rather than a screenplay, yet I'm quite certain it has a screenplay lying inside its pages. I've taken a leap and pen an edgy, reality shake-up in a nonfiction book. Not drug, alcohol, sweat lodge, hot yoga, extreme sport or near death experience induced, just very, very different that what's out there. First draft now complete, I take a short break to revise my novel, WONDERFLIES, that grabbed the immediate attention of a top notch NYC agency. One week for that and back to round two, draft two and the excitement of tightening the threads and seeing what new insights pop up as a result. It's a journey, writing, every writer is only half responsible, the muse is not to be denied! I'm sad to share that the individual who inspired my script, MY NAME IS SAMANTHA VANE, has passed. What an extraordinary soul, how much I learned from her. I may return to that script for revisions, push the boundaries a bit farther - as she did. I've cut out FB, Twitter. I've kept Stage32! Yay! I love this site and the people on it. I apologize for not participating more but I am so focused on the writing, or the writing has me in its grips, either way, I always read the news. Perdone!
