Financing / Crowdfunding : Update on Indiegogo fundraiser for short film WAIT TIME by Aarhon Silver

Hi all, just completed a fundraiser for my short Wait Time and happy to say it raised 25% of the goal. Happy to say it because raising $1000 is a big deal. It took a lot of effort to manage the fundraiser, constant vigilance... but the great thing is that it gets the work out there. If anyone is considering doing a crowdfunder, know that for most campaigns you have to work really hard to keep it going, plot it out and plan it well. Use your Networking. Also I believe in my project and that is the other key, to let other people know why I believe in it and why I think others should support it. Wait Time is in post production right now. No matter what, we'll complete it. I will beg and borrow (never steal) to make it so. And part of its creation will be because of the generosity of friends and network acquaintances who believe in the project and in helping support independent filmmakers doing the hard yards to tell their stories.
