Places like Amazon, Netflix are buying. You must have a clear chain of title. Another avenue is to find Films sales reps. Those are the ones who make a call and say check this one out to the money bags. The film rep gets a cut and you get sold. Submit to festivals. 1/2 the audience in there are buyers.

Says you. I have not experience selling them direct. However I have had a few conversations via Linked in and they have shared success stories with me. Vimeo for instance gives 90% to the artist and takes 10%. So please elaborate on what you are stating that I have no idea what I am writing about....The outlets, the festival, the film sales reps? Or do you even know?
