Screenwriting : The Hollywood Screenwriting Directory by Michael D'Ambrosio

The Hollywood Screenwriting Directory

I purchased the Hollywood Screenwriting Directory in May and was very disappointed in its inaccuracies. Missing genre, contact info, and invalid or misspelled email contacts were bad enough but a significant number of contacts were listed as accepting submissions from writers but I received word from them that this incorrect and they have never accepted submissions from writers. I have found thus far more than 50% of the book to be inaccurate and have actually found no companies actually looking for material. In my opinion, the book was hastily prepared, poorly edited and in many cases, not fact checked at all. While I expect that some information will change up to the point of the books release, it appears this was not the case. Beware of this latest edition. It's worthless.

That's why I just look stuff up on the internet. Very carefully of course.

Another lesson learned.

I had the same experience a couple of years ago.

Thanks for the input. Great choice.

Don't waste your time. Just go directly to Inktip. It costs, though you get interest from Producers.
