Hey Hello everyone my name is John Dawson, I am at present when I go back to'Uni' a third year undergraduate. I am 52 years of age and run a Mixed Martial Arts and Fitness Academy.I have fought and taught striking and grappling disciplines for almost 35 years.However my real passion is Television and Film I have been a Sculptor and Effects artist since the mid 80s working on Amatuer and 'B' movies.I have my own workshop entitled "Facial Distortions EFX Workshop.I have done special make ups, puppets and manual operated creatures.I love this field yet also I have become interested in 'Acting', taking on a couple of roles in student Films.My Final Major Project is a culture creation, its a book that's taken me 7 years to write, so my plan is to get a publisher but also make a film trailer and include the 'making of', video as m Degree FMP.The overview in context is simple, I created it in words, I draw it, sculpt, turn it into a motion picture using the Book and film trailer to attract work or get enough cash to make it. Carefully it will have sets, storyboards, animatronic creature, Make up, Costume a soundtrack, narrative.
