Hello. I'm an old guy who is new to film/television. I've done a lot of stage work, and enjoy it immensely. I was told of auditions for short films at North Carolina School of the Arts and tried it. I was cast in a film titled "Old Dogs" which was later changed to "Old Souls". I fell in love with the story, and with film work, and auditioned for another short at UNC Wilmington called "Tuesday" in which I was cast as a principal but had no lines. It was an interesting adventure, and I am hooked. I am currently looking forward to still another short at UNC School of the Arts called "So Long Charlie" in which I will portray the father of Charlie who is comic relief. My forte is comedy, and I can add value to any laugh line. I think I would really like to do more physical/visual comedy in this medium. I'm told I'm a natural for film, and I look forward to many more experiences, especially feature length films. I'm a devoted character actor, and have no designs on stardom. If anybody needs an old guy, it's me. I have a lot of ideas floating around in my head for story lines, but I'm not disciplined in writing. I would love to collaborate with someone on a screenplay.
