I would dearly love to hear from actors who have a great audition story to share. I'm talking one where you took risks and totally nailed it... regardless of whether you scored the role or not (but please tell me either way). I wanna hear all the nitty gritty details of what you did that made you so bloomin' proud of yourself (and good on ya for it!). Make sure you include info on the job you were auditioning for as well, i.e. feature film, short, stage, student film, lead role, support, etc. You know what I mean. How did you feel as soon as you walked out of the room? Did you expect to get the part? Were you devo if you didn't? I'd also like your permission to feature your awesome story in my new book, A Perfect Performance, aimed at 13-30 year old actors. I think it's important we hear stories from other actors around the world that focus on their audition experiences - especially featuring the type of risks you took and are willing to take. In return I will send you an e-copy of the book. If anything I'm sure it'll be a great read... and who knows? You might learn something new! The more the merrier please!
