Rich Pulin.......Again....

The PR dunce that I am, I left a couple of things out For those of you interested in learning more about my life, career and music, the website for 'Rich Pulin Musical Family' is www.reverbnation.com/richpulinmusicalfamily Hit songs are not necessarily an indication of a writers talent..none the less, I've had several. The song that fared the best, financially, was a 1974 Dutch production by the group 'Livin Blues' This song went platinum! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_95IML-hLA Jazz buffs know who Clifford Brown is. Arguably one of the greatest jazz trumpeters ever, he died in a tragic car accident, along with a few of his colleagues, on a rainy Pennsylvania highway in 1956. Shortly before his demise, he wrote a song for his wife LaRue, entitled appropriately, "La Rue" In 1977, La Rue Brown commissioned me to write a lyric to "LaRue", which when completed she stated that it was not only one of the nicest lyrics she'd ever heard, but that it brought the song and Clifford to life...in 1987, 'The Cunningham's (an LA husband and wife duo) recorded "La Rue" on Discovery Records and you can hear it at the Reverbnation link above.
