Hello everyone, I never thought in a million years that I would be involved in FILM in any way. After being unemployed for 4 yrs and going stir crazy, a friend signed me up to be an extra in "Ides of March" on 3/17/2011. The extra bug bit me especially working with George Clooney (Gorgeous). Continued to do extra stuff paid and unpaid, anything to keep busy. In Sept 2011 I answered an ad on FB for a PA position (unpaid). Didn't know what I was getting into, I ended up doing "Craft Services", shopping, cooking, feeding from 7-15 cast and crew. I did not enjoy the all the work, but I did enjoy being part of the crew for the film. In Nov 2011, I got my first very small speaking role in an indie short film, I didn't ask for it, was just there as an extra and they threw this at me and I went with it. Thought I would be nervous, but I wasn't and everyone was very excited and telling me what a great job I did. I am currently working with these same ppl that gave me the speaking role as an Assoc Producer on another indie film. I am sending emails, coordinating schedules, doing scene breakdowns, etc. Unpaid, but great experience and keeping me super busy. So here I am 11 months after starting with all this with several extra rolls under my belt and 2 crew positions. It is a fun, frustrating, exciting, sometimes crazy industry and I love it.
Same here!

Hi Norine. Can you take a look at my projects & Loglines: Son of a Gun, Idlewild 2 & tell me what you think. Thanks.
Um, maybe I gave out the wrong impression here. This is my first crew job as Assoc Producer and I'm just learning, honestly I have no idea what I'm doing. So I'd love to look at your stuff but it won't help you at all. We haven't even starting filming yet, so I'll be learning more stuff on set. Sorry I can't help you Allen, good luck to you with your projects. :)
