Introduce Yourself : Director/Screenwriter/Up and Coming Producer by Gloria Hass

Hello everyone! I started on here as a film director and ended up writing my own screenplay and helping a screenwriter with a re-write. I'm also mentoring others with their screenplays. I'm hosting my first ever screenwriting contest. I'm delving into the business with both feet and loving every minute of it! I am founder of Gloria's World (film company) and I'm waiting for funding on my romantic comedy (which is copyrighted), I will be writing my first documentary. I love documentaries and looking forward to jumping on the research end of things. Once my screenplay re-write is finished, I will be seeking funding. I have met a wonderful colleague here who is willing to help me with any and all questions which is wonderful for me. I supply the same for him. It's nice to be able to have people willing to help you whenever you need it so you can be successful in your trade. I am not currently looking for any new projects to direct. I am, however, wanting to build my network of like minded individuals who are serious about working whether they are actors/actresses, crew, producers, etc. from the beginning to the end of a project and if asked their pay rate, to please give it. It's not easy building a budget if you don't know what others want to be paid when you're not working on a low budget film. :) I'm quite creative and love working.
