Introduce Yourself : Hello! by Louise Burke

Hi. My name's Louise and I am fairly new to Stage 32. Really glad to be a part of this community. Life has a really weird and wonderful way of working out sometimes. My passion for languages, literature, travel and culture led me to the United Nations (I am now very fortunate to be working on a freelance basis for the UN in NY after doing three years with Geneva) and the sheer amount of free time I now have has allowed me to fulfil my desire to get into the world of acting and performance, which is just incredible considering I did not for one minute believe I would ever be in this privileged position. I can now say that this is my life and was always going to be my life when I stop and think about it. But who would have thought? I have gone from having no credits to having six in the space of six months and was called up by a casting director for my first big audition the other day for a new US series. If you put your mind to it, it's incredible what you can achieve in this life. Best of luck to everyone on here and hope to work with some of you soon.
