Filmmaking / Directing : Short films for a 12 year old autistic boy. by John Wallage

Short films for a 12 year old autistic boy.

So yesterday my youngest son Luke spent the afternoon in the front room, like most almost teenaged boys, but even though he had the TV on he wasn't watching it. Liar, I hear you cry but it's true. What he was doing was more creative. Luke was drawing some rather good stick man cartoons that where really funny. So this morning over breakfast he asked "Dad, you make films, don't you." then he asked "do you think the ideas in my cartoons would make good short films?" So I looked at his drawings with my directors had fully on. I am amazed in the ideas behind Luke's cartoons and I'm going to make a couple of short films out of his ideas just so I can see him smile every time he sees them. So if there's any people in South East Kent (UK) who would like to make a 12 year old autistic boys whole year let me know.
