I'm a screenwriter, senior lecturer (associate professor in the US) in media studies and partner in a production company and studio in New Zealand. I have two scripts that I will be marketing this year. Both are set in the U.S. and would be difficult to translate into a NZ setting that would fit our studio resources. One is a low budget moc-doc sci fi comedy (Set in a dinosaur dig) and the other is a medium budget fantasy realism buddy movie (female) thriller (Set in Pittsburgh). I do occasionally do a bit of free-lance script doctoring and rewriting, with a particular knack for radical character revision so if you have good story with stiff characters, it may be worth sending me a query.

Location seldom matters when it comes to writing. If you have a script that needs to be fixed, it never hurts to ask. Do note that for script fixing queries, I only work on a fee and credit basis.
