Introduce Yourself : Hey, I'm from NYC, SAG since 1995 and after the merge, SAG-AFTRA by Marianna Lead, PhD * Sag Member Since 1995

When I joined SAG in 1995, I really thought it was going to change my life, but it didn't. So, like most of us, I went into other careers and actually found my other love and passion: coaching and teaching. I run an institute certifying people in becoming professional credentialed and certified life, career, and executive coaches with the International Coach Federation. In addition to teaching and having coaching clients, I just finished writing a non-fiction book about personal branding. I had my own live TV show on public cable channel in Manhattan called "Life Coach TV" interviewing coaches and answering calls from the audience. I did that for 5 years weekly. After that, I trained other people to continue on, and the show is still on. In the old days, I worked a comedy scene for a while until life intervened and I had to spend my evenings at home. I came from Ukraine a long time ago and still have a slight Eastern European accent. Sometimes it's a plus and sometimes it's a minus. However, with a speech coach I can sound totally American (or English) if I have a script beforehand. I'd love to be on a talk show panel or host a show bringing both my personality and coaching know-how to a wider audience. I'd also love to be a part of a smart comedy series and/or collaborate on creating an amazing TV comedy series pilot. Also, I have done a few voice-over SAG commercials over the last few years and would love to do more acting. It would be best if it's filmed in NY.:) However, I can take my computer and be anywhere since my coaching work is via the Internet and phone. I have done lots of things in my lifetime.
