Introduce Yourself : Film and TV Actress by Glorinda Marie

Film and TV Actress

Hello Stage 32 Community! My name is Glorinda Marie and I'm a classically trained SAG/AFTRA actress. I played the "Shelter Mother" in Sci Fi miniseries "Meteor" and 'Molly' the sassy diner waitress in Hallmark's award winning holiday film, "The Christmas Card". Ed Asner was nominated for an Emmy for his role and this film won a 'Camie Award' for it's character and morality in entertainment. Among other roles, I also played a part on TV soap "One Life To Live". I also seem to have a flair for improvisation & comedy and have performed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" twice. The first time I actually twerked with Richard Simmons to the the Oldies and in my next appearance on the show, I played I a crazy giraffe lady! Goofy stuff. I particularly adore working in film! I currently reside in LA but am a San Francisco native. While in the Bay Area I founded a group for indie filmmakers called SF Indieclub. Our members reflected all the team members it takes to produce a quality film (much as Stage 32) only we were a local group. As leader, I realized that it is the people - ie., talent, crew, director, producer etc who are it's most valuable resource. So, we collaborated and produced an award winning Western short film entitled, "WidowMaker". We won 3 awards for our team efforts and screened at various film festivals! As a member of Stage 32 collective, I would be very interested in collaborating with fellow members. I'd adore playing an interesting role in your film or TV show. I'm fascinated to hear all about your projects and eager to contribute should my talents appropriately assist. ~ Keep creating!!! with joy, Glorinda
