Acting : Just a Damn Fine Story by Nicholas Camm

Just a Damn Fine Story

This isn't a promo, as such, just wanted to share my narration of one of the finest stories I have done for some time: Brandon Sanderson's 'Defending Elysium'. 5 days after completion, it's still whispering in the back of my mind. And, although it isn't my field, I'm amazed it has never been optioned for a film. If there's any whiff of promotion, it simply serves the host, StarShipSofa. They'll get a few extra clicks (it's free to listen), and they are a jolly fine bunch. Oh, and they are always on the look-out for new narrators. Hope this might tickle some of your fancies! Cheers. http://bit.ly/1iroh8M

I could listen to you narrate the story all night long.... Hello stranger... really enjoyed watching your acting clip... thank you for sharing...

Nicholas Camm

Aw, shucks, thank you, Janet! Hope all is good in New Zealand land.

Janet Scott

All is good mate thank you... hope the same for you .... I would love you to read one of my children's tales... The Cry of the North Sea Selki in particular.... Maybe one of these days....

Janet Scott

It would be read with a Scottish accent .... Smiles.

Well, it wouldn't hurt to have a look, eh? But I must warn you, it might take a wee while to get it done as I'm actually really busy for the first time in as long as I can remember. To my immense surprise, I'm a fully paid up member of the professional audiobook narrators club, now! I've done 6 books this year and, hopefully, more to come. So, bung it over to me at nicholas.camm@sky.com It took me almost a year to get round to getting this done (the host started nagging me): http://bit.ly/1qhycpy my first narration for Tales To Terrify. William Hope Hodgson's House on the Borderland. It's a HUGE 5 1/2 hour horror classic, and it's bloody bonkers. I think this link is for pt4, but all other parts are on the site. (Did you notice how I almost imperceptibly segued into self-promotion, there?!!) Scottish, eh? Hoots mon, it's ben a while since ah did a Skorts accent!

Thank you so much for being willing to even take a wee look, so appreciated. Will send through the story for you to read, would appreciate your thoughts on the story itself, even if is not read aloud. Thank you... so much.

Janet Scott

Will PM you.....shortly
