Acting : A Short Stay in LA by Lore Phoenix Burns

Hi everyone! I'm going to be in Hollywood for about a month this July for the World Championship of Performing Arts, which will take up most of my time. However, I'm staying an extra week after the event is over and was wondering if anyone had advice on how to make the most of my time? For instance, I don't yet have an agent, I'm in the stage of show reel building and skill learning - does anyone know of any workshops, experiences and/or networking events for an Aussie actor/musician in July? How can I learn and grow the most through this experience? Thanks in advance!
