Kris C. Jones

Greetings from Chattanooga, TN!

Hello, everyone. My name is Kris Jones. I currently work in the motion picture industry as a set dresser & properties master. My background is art direction and production design. I attended film school at Valencia CC in Orlando, FL (Class of 2002.) In the recent past I have also worked in the areas of set painter, locations assistant and greens crew on the Warner Brothers / Legendary Pictures film, '42': The Jackie Robinson Story (Summer 2012). Lastly, I did a short stint as swing gang on the television series "Hoarders" in the fall of 2012. My "day job" between major gigs is as a production liaison & outreach coordinator with the Chattanooga SE TN Film Commission (* You may have met my "online" persona for same -- "CameraMan Conrad.") One of the film activities we sponsor at the commission's "home", Heritage House Arts & Civic Center, is 'The Backlot': A Place for Filmmakers -- a monthly mixer that brings together professionals with local indie and student filmmakers & talent. Activities usually include presentations by those working in the field, screenings of locally-produced films, and casting calls. In addition to 'The Backlot', we also offer an ongoing classic film series. Both of the events are offered free to the public. I am currently back in school finishing an Integrated Studies degree with a Production Design / Journalism emphasis. Thank you for taking the time to read my "intro" -- I hope to see you 'round Stage 32! - Kris C. Jones (filmblogunscripted.com)
