Introduce Yourself : Voice Over Artist/Actor by John Patrick Scofield

I grew up in Seattle and was fortunate to enough to be in an environment where I was in contact with many unique characters. Two that you will know by name are Bill Boeing and Bill Gates. Bill Boeing drove my carpool in high school and Bill Gates and I played soccer and rugby against each other during those very same years. Some years later I sold Microsoft a million dollar computer system, and spent a few minutes with Bill as he told me that my equipment would be obsolete within a year - it was! Anyway after years as a salesman making pitches to big companies I moved to a small town a way's out of the emerald city and bought a newspaper. After 5-years as publisher and editor in chief I chose a new path and was a commercial real estate broker for 15-years. Recently at the urging of long time friends I decided to become a voice artist and actor. After struggling to find my way for 4 months I found Such a Voice and signed up for 8 hours of professional coaching and 2 demo's two weeks ago and last monday had my first session with my coach David Tolar. In that one hour he changed my game completely and I now have a huge amount more enthusiasm for my new career.
