Hi everyone! My name is Ben McInnis and I recently joined Stage 32. I am a writer, actor, musician, and stage combatant/choreographer. I have not pursued my theatrical or musical interests for many years, but an odd turn of events have made it possible for me to rededicate my life to the things I love. In February, I had to take leave from work due to an old back injury. After having surgery, I was informed by the company I had worked for for 13 years that my leave would not be extended and my employment was terminated. I struggled with this because I am the sole supporter of my wife and three children, but after the initial panic wore off, I realized it was my chance to rebuild my life the right way. So, here I am, almost 41 years old and excited to finally make the life I have always wanted to make for myself and my family. I am glad to have found Stage 32 and I look forward to interacting with the people here. :)

Hi Ben - so glad you've joined the Stage 32 family! I think it's fantastic that you have such a positive spirit after some tough news with your job.
