Hello Darious, I agree with you that being critical of your work and always wanting to do something to improve it- making changes, revisions, edits (cuts), will make your work better and in the end you will have made a quality film. You want to make the best film possible. Also, do not allow people change your mind about the story you are trying to tell. It is important to delegate and not try to do it all, in order to avoid burnout and for the success of the film you must give crew-members their job, and then let them do it. It is important for you to be open to other peoples’ ideas, advice and feedback is very crucial to the success of your film. I am constantly asking my cast and crew for feedback to ensure that we will have made the best film possible. It can be a bit overwhelming when starting out as an independent filmmaker because there is so much to learn. It is necessary and to your best interest, that you allow people to help you make a quality film. You are trying to build a marketable portfolio and you want to make the best film possible for it to be a great and best representation of you as a filmmaker. Nice Job! I liked your video a lot. I wish you the very best in your career in film! Have a blessed day

Would that your videos are subtitled in Spanish! It is an excellent reflection that you offer us. I stop only "collaboration" you mention. I think the highlight of an audiovisual project, is that deep sense of collaborative work, community, a balanced sense of involving hierarchical roles, and the true spirit of family. The film director is the key to everything that happens.

Very encouraging. Last night I heard something even more encouraging,“make even stupid films but please do make films.”
