I'm Michael Potts, a philosophy professor (at Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC) who has taken a number of writing classes and workshops. I have written one horror screenplay, "Obedience," in which a sixteen-year-old girl in rural Tennessee and her friends try to stop her father from murder. They discover that he is communicating with a supernatural being falsely claiming to be Jesus Christ. I am also working on two other screenplays, "Relative Decisions," a ghost story with a twist, and "Southern Karma," about two young boys who seek revenge on an agitator at their church. My novel, End of Summer, is published by WordCrafts Press, and I have published a collection of horror poems, "Hiding from the Reaper and Other Horror Poems."
