Introduce Yourself : Beginning Screenwriter with Background in Medicine and Biochemistry/Genetics by Deena Vichugsananon

I started writing for a friend, but am now writing for myself. A recent transplant to the Seattle-Tacoma area, and really liking both the area (geographically) and the people. Wonderful opportunities for creatives in this area. In the year we've lived here, I've managed to meet and work with a number of people who are or have already produced films, some with international awards. Very exciting! I'm pleasantly surprised to find that Tacoma is full of people who are dedicated to the craft of writing and producing film! I'm hoping to network with others in the Seattle-Tacoma-Kitsap area to help bring good things to life. Current projects include a radio play for the BBC. Currently working on my first feature length script, with other ideas on the table. What's my goal? Oh geez. Eventually I'd like to be able to help produce some informational films about STIs and health issues. Anything else is icing on the cake.
