Introduce Yourself : Advertising Producer turns to writing and directing films by Timothy Plain

Hi there. As a producer for Goodby Silverstein & Partners, I crafted my storytelling skills on everything from no-budget web videos to million dollar TV campaigns, producing and directing more than 200 commercials including award-winning campaigns for the NBA, Cheetos, Nintendo and Rolling Rock. My short film, Man’s Best Friend screened in 2010 at the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival, Bumbershoot’s 1 Reel Film Festival, and Cinequest, where I was just one of 20 filmmakers invited to compete in the SanDisk Phone Flick contest. And most recently, my film, The Spirit Machine, was the most funded short of all time on Kickstarter after raising $96,000 in just 21 days. I am currently working on a screenplay adaptation of the New York Times bestselling book “Nick of Time” by Ted Bell and looking for my first feature film project. Don't be shy.
