My name is Sandra Bucy-Umphrey, and I am a screenwriter. I have written six spec screenplays; four are feature length and two are short comedies. I produced one of the shorts, along with Chase the Moon Productions, last year in Denver Colorado. That one is called Girlfriend Lies, and stars Tyler Ritter, the late John Ritter's son. I write screenplays for pay, as well. I'm known for my ability to take another person's general story ideas and turn them into a rockin' screenplay. I am currently finishing up a write-for-hire screenplay project, but I prefer to retain screenwriter credit. I write comedy, drama and horror. Hello everyone, I am totally new to screenwriting. I have raised 3 children and have now decided to do what I have always loved since high school and that is to be a successful screenwriter. I am interested in having fun first...and whatever may or may not come to fruition...at least I will have enjoyed the ride:-).

I wish to extend a sincere Hello to the members of Stage 32, I have been a member of this site for a short period and I’m highly impressed with what the site has to offer and the caliber of members on the site and the information that they extend to the membership. I have been working on building my network on the site and have had the opportunity to read many posts that have been very interesting to say the least and commend those of you that do take the time to express your thoughts and ideas. I look forward in other members joining my network here on Stage 32. Now to let the members know a little about myself, I currently run an Internet Radio Station at night and a PR, Advertising and Marketing firm during the day which has been in business since 1965 which has worked with the top 500 International companies in the world over the years. I have two PhD’s one in Physics and the other in Business Administration in addition a MBA. I’m also a published author with two books on Physics that are currently being used in Collages and Universities around the world as an introduction to Physics. Some of my past experience has been in both film and music back in the 80’s and 90’s both in New York and Nashville were I was a production manager, as you can see I’m no spring chicken I turned 71 this year and still very active in my own endeavors. During the 3 years of my radio show I have had the pleasure to interview some very important people with the Entertainment Industry, Authors, Singers, Bands, Actors, Producers, Directors, Film Industry and Business people from all aspects of their fields that they are involved in and their endeavors. I have severed in the USMC and currently I’m a retired officer after 22 years of service in both active and within the USMC reserves during that time frame. I want to thank RB and his staff for all that he has done in establishing this site for the great talent that is available around the world in the Entertainment industry in giving these professionals the opportunity to bringing to the membership their projects, ideas and thoughts and their free expression of their work.
