Miranda is diagnosed with ALS. Her sons, Ben and Justin, are forced to grow up to manage their new circumstances. Our production is intended to focus on ALS, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that causes muscle weakness, paralysis and, ultimately, respiratory failure. There is no cure for ALS, and it is a terminal disease. ALS has touched many of our lives very personally and intimately. Our personal attachment to ALS has created a commitment to mobilize people towards finding a cure and ultimately defeating ALS. We believe our most effective way to participate in bringing awareness is by delivering an impactful artistic message in the form of this short film.
