The United States has a huge problem with gun violence. People are losing their lives senselessly. We are no longer safe at movie theaters, church, schools, in the community, or at home. Black men are being gun down by authority. Some studies show more than 32,000 fatalities every year. We need to stop killing each other. Violence is a learned behavior. For many youth, both witnessing and being the victim of violence is a daily occurrence. "Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time.
