Bill's composition for the prologue of the documentary, "Rooted in Love," is one of the fruits of that long labor. Produced by Gerry Straub, “Rooted in Love” follows the Medical Missionaries of Mary, an international order of Catholic sisters, many of whom are doctors and nurses, who, in the manner of St. Francis of Assisi, work among the poorest of the poor in Honduras, Central America. Complemented by Bill's underscore, the documentary transcends the distressing realities of poverty to capture the pure love of those who, in the words of the producer, "give everything for those who have nothing." He credits Bill's underscore for elevating the film, saying "His innate sensitivity perfectly captured the range of emotions expressed in the film."
