Soon the Moon is a documentary that highlights the transition from NASA's Project Mercury to Project Gemini. Gemini, aiming to gain NASA the technological know-how needed to achieve the ultimate goal of sending a man to the moon, would push the boundaries of exploration to heights never-before imagined. However, getting Project Gemini off the ground would prove to be anything but easy. Facing repeated failures with the high-profile Ranger Project, relocating to a new Manned Space Center, and moving forward after the assassination of the nation's leader, getting Gemini off of the ground would prove to be NASA's greatest challenge yet.
