Chance outweighs skill. A couple survive year one of an EMP attack to find themselves fighting for another day. WWIII ends with a nuclear device detonating over America’s ionosphere creating an Electromagnetic Pulse and destroying North America’s outdated electrical grid. Within one year, ninety percent of the population is wiped out. Davor and Patricia fight to live another day in the Marin Headlands of Northern California. In their world, chance outweighs skill. Only the lucky will survive.
