Just re-located to Los Angeles! SHOTGUN got several selections, nominations and awards. Currently making the rounds with our newest short, Coming Home!
Born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. I have always had a love for art, especially film and theatre. After receiving my BA in Theater Arts from The College of Santa Fe in 2007, I moved to NYC to pursue my dreams! There I worked, learned about life and STUDIED! I trained in Meisner Technique at the William Esper Studio under Deb Jackel and then at Studio4/NYC under Raymond Williams. In addition I am a member at One on One NYC and The Actors Green Room.
In 2015 I decided to move back to my hometown in order to focus on my Career and Passion full time in the booming local market. There I met my Partner, Daniel Pattison. We both share a passion for creating our own content so we started saving our money to make films and we started our own production company called MarieEllis Films. Our first film, produced with the 2017 - HORROR 48 Hour Film Project in Albuquerque, WON Best Editing and was NOMINATED for BEST DIRECTING and BEST FILM. Our second film Coming Home, about a young stand-up comedian struggling with the relationship with her mother, is currently in post and is slated for a fall completion/premier. In addition we are working on 2 feature film scripts.
Currently, I am also starring in the short film, SHOTGUN produced by Hardline Films which is starting to make its rounds in the festival circuit!
I am represented locally by Lynette O'Connor at the O'Agency.
