Below is my official bio:
Sarah Albritton is a stand-up comedian, writer & producer based in Chicago. She hosts the podcast Sleeping with Sarah on the Laugh Factory Podcast netowrk, where she interviews guests in her bed. She also produces the popular show "Secrets, Lies & Alibis", a live variety show inspired by audience secrets. She's a recurring guest on WGN's The Download with Justin Kaufmann and is currently working on a web-series slated to debut Fall 2016. Additionally, she's done voiceover work for Hard Knock Robots (2016).
On stage, Sarah Albritton is a ball of comedic energy. Off stage, she needs medicine to stay awake. Described by the Chicago Tribune as "vulnerable and honest", Sarah's stand-up combines observational humor and personal stories with her unique perspective on living with narcolepsy. She's performed in the Cleveland Comedy Festival, Funny Women's Fest LA, Gilda's Laughfest, Broken Record Comedy Show at the Wild West Comedy Fest in Nashville and on the Kill Tony Podcast. When she isn't sleeping, she performs stand-up, solo and sketch comedy throughout the city of Chicago.
Before venturing into the world of comedy, Sarah got her start performing serious theater and was a graduate of NIU School of Theater and Dance and British American Drama Academy. Since moving to Chicago, she's completed iO training program, Second City Conservatory and taken too many writing workshops to name here.
She is survived by her rescue dog, Happy, who keeps her sane...most of the time.
