He is currently Executive Producer of "GENIUS", a scripted series for National Geographic Network, which he developed from book to series. The first season of "GENIUS" depicted the life of Albert Einstein with Geoffrey Rush starring as Einstein and Ron Howard directing the pilot. "GENIUS: EINSTEIN" garnered ten 2017 Emmy nominations including a Best Limited Series nomination for Sam. The second season of "GENIUS" - "GENIUS: PICASSO" - depicted the life of Pablo Picasso with Antonio Banderas starring as Picasso and garnered seven 2018 Emmy nominations including a Best Limited Series nomination for Sam. Q: What is the format of a webinar?
A: Stage 32 Next Level Webinars are typically 90-minute educational broadcasts that take place online using a designated software program from Stage 32. Your webinar will be taught by a working industry professional with in-depth teaching on a topic. If you are able to attend live you will be able to ask your Stage 32 Educator questions during Q&A.

Q: What if I cannot attend the live webinar?

A: If the webinar you take included handouts you can find them as downloads underneath your on demand video. You must be logged into your Stage 32 profile to view the video and get the handouts by clicking settings in the top right hand corner, then clicking purchase history.

We're diving into the first Writers' Room Pitch Tank of 2021 and welcoming special guest, Literary Manager Audrey Knox of The Cartel to critique members' pitches! Audrey worked her way up from receptionist in 2016 to Manager in 2018. Audrey has experience in both scripted and unscripted television, on set, in production, and in writers’ rooms. She has a BFA in Screenwriting from Chapman University. Prior to joining The Cartel Audrey worked in development at WME and Lighthearted Entertainment and in the literary department at Gersh. Last year, Untitled Entertainment and The Cartel - two huge management companies - joined forces to produce films for television and theatrical release. We're diving into the Writers' Room Pitch Tank with special guest, Producer Colleen Marshall! Colleen Marshall is a producer who focused on high-concept, character-driven content. Colleen produced the indie film THE BACHELORS, starring Academy Award winner J.K. Simmons, as well as the sequel UNBROKEN: PATH TO REDEMPTION for Universal 1440 Entertainment. She has a number of projects in development and just sold a series to a major streaming platform. Prior to launching her development and production venture, she first worked in the literary department at the Gersh Agency in Beverly Hills. She then helped open the LA-based office of Random House Studios, focusing on book-to-television adaptations.

The Pitch Tank with Tuesday Lewis-Harris
Another great Pitch Tank Webcast is now available on demand! Writers' Room Members who volunteered had 5-minute pitch opportunities and received feedback from our guest, Tuesday Lewis-Harris, the producer and founder of Lewis & Harris Productions, which develops, packages, and arranges financing for feature films and television with a focus on filmmaker-driven, commercially minded stories for global audiences, and the Stage 32 pitch team! Tuesday brought a wealth of knowledge on perfecting an effective pitch. She even requested scripts from our volunteers who pitched! Tuesday's journey began in front of the camera as an actress before transitioning into a creative executive at Autumn Bailey Entertainment, where she played a key part in script development for MGM, BET, and other major studios. Tuesday has achieved notable successes with "THE FIRST NOELLE", securing the #2 spot on BET+ during its holiday run, and the feature film "BILLY KNIGHT," in post-production, starring Al Pacino, Charlie Heaton, and Diane Silver. In Tuesday's own words, "I’m interested in compelling, character-driven stories with clear commercial appeal. I can help writers refine their pitches and share insight into how projects connect with producers, studios, and investors, as well as explore different ways that I can collaborate with them on their projects". The Pitch Tank Webcast with Andrew Kersey
The Pitch Tank Webcast returns! This week, our guest is Literary Manager & Kersey Management founder Andrew Kersey! Andrew started his career as a production company intern at 3Arts Entertainment and later at a Universal Production company. His credits include clients who have sold pilots to or been staffed on series for ABC, FOX, NBC, Disney Channel, CW, Nickelodeon, and WGN. AMAZON STUDIOS bought its client’s action comedy spec NEVER TOO OLD TO DIE with Sylvester Stallone, and THUNDER ROAD PICTURES (JOHN WICK franchise) is producing another client’s project, SUSPENSION. Another of Andrew's clients wrote VACATION FRIENDS starring John Cena and Lil Rel, which was Hulu's biggest 3-day weekend opener for an original in the streamer's history. His client list has been represented by all the major talent agencies. In Andrew's own words: " I'm looking for storytellers who can concisely pitch their idea (any genre, format) from start to finish. It all begins with a logline and ideal comps.
