Scott Schulman is a Literary Manager who staffs writers at major Networks and Streamers, and is a champion of helping writers break into the industry! He is currently building a roster of emerging voices and has a passion for representing and inspiring writers. He currently represents the Co-Ep of the hit Netflix series "THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY", and has clients on the shows: "Dumped" (Netflix), "FBI: Most Wanted" (CBS), "NCIS: LA" (CBS), "SO Help Me Todd" (CBS) One of his clients recently sold one of their pilots to Netflix carried through by 21 Laps (FREE GUY, "STRANGER THINGS"). Scott went off on his own after working at More/Medavoy Management. He first started representing actors and then transitioned to writers. As a manager he is also very adamant about breaking the barrier for women by helping get their voices heard. Before More/Medavoy, Schulman was at A3 Artist Agency for a year as a junior agent in below the line packaging. He got his start working at Fremantle with over 200 Titles in business affairs in both scripted and non-scripted television. He is currently doing business with 21 Laps, Sugar 23, Phoenix Pictures, Omaha Productions, Fabel Entertainment, Mar Vista, CBS and Netflix. Q: How do I watch my webinar live?
A: If you received a confirmation that your webinar is on Go to Webinar, you will receive an email from Go to Webinar with further instructions for participating in the live webinar. You can also access your webinar link in your purchase history located under settings in the top right-hand corner of your Stage 32 profile.

Q: How do I watch my webinar on demand?

Q: What is the format of a webinar?
A: Stage 32 Next Level Webinars are typically 90-minute educational broadcasts that take place online using a designated software program from Stage 32. Your webinar will be taught by a working industry professional with in-depth teaching on a topic. If you are able to attend live you will be able to ask your Stage 32 Educator questions during Q&A.
Q: What are the system requirements to watch my webinar live?
A: You will need to meet the following system requirements in order to run the webinar software: Windows 7 or later Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks) or later.
If you have Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X 10.9 (Mountain Lion): The webinar software does not support these operating systems. If you are running one of those operating systems, please upgrade now in order to be able to view a live webinar. Upgrade your Windows computer / Upgrade your Mac computer.
Q: What if I cannot attend the live webinar?
A: If you cannot attend a live webinar or purchase an on demand webinar, you will have access to the entire recorded broadcast, including the Q&A.
Q: Will I have access to the webinar afterward to re-watch?
A: Yes! Like all Stage 32 education, after the purchase of a live or on demand webinar, you will have on-demand access to the recording.
Q: How do I get a copy of the handouts provided?
A: If the webinar you take included handouts you can find them as downloads underneath your on demand video. You must be logged into your Stage 32 profile to view the video and get the handouts by clicking settings in the top right hand corner, then clicking purchase history.

The Pitch Tank Webcast with Special Guest Literary Manager Mike Diaz
During this webcast, the Writers' Room welcomes special guest, Literary Manager Mike Diaz of The Coronel Group to critique members' pitches. The Coronel Group is a literary and talent management company based in LA that has a roster of A-List Actors, including Alan Tudyk (Disney Animated Films), Adan Gillen ("GAME OF THRONES"), and Robert Patrick (TERMINATOR -franchise). Mike focusses on project development for Coronel Group's screenwriters and directors through the literary division. Mike has over 10 years of experience representing Actors, writers, and Directors, and he had some excellent insights for those members who pitched. Prior to "GREY'S" she worked on Chris Miller's upcoming Comedy THE AFTERPARTY and Taika Waititi's upcoming Comedy OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH. She has also worked for the president of Sony's Tristar Pictures during the development of WOMAN KING and A BEAUTIFUL DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. The Pitch Tank with Special Guest Literary Manager Audrey Knox
We're diving into the first Writers' Room Pitch Tank of 2021 and welcoming special guest, Literary Manager Audrey Knox of The Cartel to critique members' pitches! Audrey worked her way up from receptionist in 2016 to Manager in 2018. Audrey has experience in both scripted and unscripted television, on set, in production, and in writers’ rooms. She has a BFA in Screenwriting from Chapman University. Prior to joining The Cartel Audrey worked in development at WME and Lighthearted Entertainment and in the literary department at Gersh. Last year, Untitled Entertainment and The Cartel - two huge management companies - joined forces to produce films for television and theatrical release. Both companies continue to look for new scripts from writers that offer "escapism to broad audiences." During the webcast, we hear pitches for Action-Adventure, Supernatural Rom Com, Supernatural Procedural Drama, and more!
