Weeda Anderson is a passionate storyteller and longtime advocate for vulnerable youth. For over seventeen years, she has served as Chief Operating Officer of a girls’ group home, where she’s witnessed firsthand the devastating ripple effects of addiction on children, families, and society at large — from the judicial system to mental health services to the foster care system.
Her work has fueled her commitment to telling emotionally charged stories about trauma, healing, and resilience, particularly among young women navigating fractured environments. Drawn to suspense, drama, fantasy, and women's interest narratives, Weeda’s writing blends grounded realism with spiritual or mythic elements.
Her debut feature screenplay, All That Matters, reflects her lived insight: that strength can bloom even in the harshest soil, and the longing for unconditional love is both universal and transformative.
