I am a filmmaker and cinematographer currently based in Singapore. Telling compelling and intimate stories that inspire, provoke, and illuminate is my passion.
With every project, big or small, I maintain an open mind and fresh eyes, always seeking a unique and authentic perspective. Through delicate lighting and interesting frames, my focus is on enriching the story telling with style.
I started using a camera in the 80s when my godfather ask me to shoot with a fuji camera and various tape recorded camcorder during family events like birthday, wedding and new year.
At the age of 18, I was studying Mechatronics specialized in Machine Vision. I became very good at hands on project. With a group of classmate, we build our first robot that plays saxophone.
After serving the nation as a Combat/ Field Engineer specialist (yes, I am trained in explosive, if you need me i could blow up the film set. Joking, too many hats to wear). I went on to get the Masters of Engineering Science at the University of New South Wales. I then work as a project engineer in the electronics/aerospace industry, manager designing cleanroom for clients. I have also co-written a windows based monitoring system software for cleanroom.
I am not a film school graduate but filming has always been a passion. I enjoy integrating equipments like drones, gimbals, steadicam and dolly into film making.
I look forward to helping you share your media to the world.
