Film by Eirini Konstantinidou (Drama and Sci-Fi) Second Unit Director or Assistant Director Mnemophrenia is an anthology film. Three intertwining stories explore the effects of mnemophrenia whose main symptom is the involuntary blending of real and artificial memories, creating an identity crisis. The three main characters who live in different time periods, all placed in the future, are connected in three ways: by blood; by the condition itself, since they are all mnemophrenics; and by their shared interest in the ways that technology affects the human condition. Her only separation from her home life is her swimming routine while the boys are at school. She is interrupted and forced to pick her sons up from school as Jason has instigated a fight, and she returns home to find Elliot in bed with a younger co-worker. Elliot walks away, and Maureen is left to deal with her two boys, who are covered in mud. While she bathes them, her annoyance, anger, hurt and frustration cause her to snap as the boys roughhouse, splashing the bathroom and her with water. Without realizing what she is doing, only craving calm and silence, Maureen drowns her sons. Two days later, Elliot returns. Written by Elyse Meena
