About Filiana

My name is Filiana Tanoto and I'm currently a screenwriting student in Vancouver Film School. I grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia before coming to Vancouver to pursue my passion in writing and filmmaking! I've graduated from the Foundation program, also in VFS, where I learned the basics of filmmaking for a year. I have worked on a few student & indie short films as a producer, 1st AD, 1st AC, script supervisor, casting director, and of course as a writer! I've also written 2 feature-length screenplays during my study and am currently working on my third one. I'm having a lot of fun doing it! Looking forward to write more in the future.
