H. Buchanan is a writer and multimedia producer. Her work appears in print and digital publications, including MÖBIUS, The Blood Jet Writing Hour and Brooklyn's Look At Flatbush. Buchanan is the 2017 Paul Charosh Fellow of the Society for American Music. The owner of Detroit's own Aquarius Press for the past 18 years, she has spun off a multimedia division, AUXmedia. Upcoming projects include a digitized memoir of Detroit Hip-Hop icon Ironside Hex, a digital short about an entertainer's life in Idlewild/Paradise Valley, and BLAZE: A Poetry Film.
