About Larry

I am a communicator/analyzer/revealer/connector in all aspects ... with primary training in both journalism and theatre, and lastly as an author/pundit/archivist/producer in the universe and family of Star Trek. Author of the classic bestseller Star Trek: Next Generation Companion and Star Trek: Stellar Cartography maps/book set, and eight-year managing editor of official COmmunicator magazine, I twice played Dr. McCoy for the award-winning Star Trek Continues web series—and remain its Creative Consultant. Since 2015 I take global Trek fans backstage every month with my pioneering PORTAL 47 deep-dive live/online fan experience—and now weekly with THE TREK FILES from Roddenberry Podcast Network. I'm currently wrapping up The Con of Wrath documentary for 2018, produce the Trekland: On Speaker remastered interview series on CD from my 600+ hours of archives, and host the vidchats on my YouTube channel. I also speak for the non-profit Enterprise in Space program of aerospace affiliates, creating the Enterprise Centers of Excellence network and partnering on preperatory missions before orbiting 100+ student projects worldwide for the National Space Society‘s first real Enterprise in space. I plan to return to voiceover work in a year or two after originally training with the VO Dojo studio, and remain since 2002 a docent at the Will Rogers State Historic Park ranchhouse to keep alive the legacy of my hero and fellow Oklahoman.

Unique traits: Tenacious, detailed, loyal, history-buffed, and big-picture-minded. Trained singing vocals (baritone) not bad either.

    Star Trek: Voyager (2001)
Television by Jeri Taylor (Action, Adventure and Sci-Fi) Writer The Federation starship USS Voyager, chasing a band of Maquis rebels, enters the dangerous space nebula known as the Badlands. Both ships are transported by a distant space probe to the Delta Quadrant, 75,000 light-years from Federation space. Voyager's crew and the Maquis form an uneasy truce to rescue crewmen of both ships, kidnapped by the probe's builder, the powerful, dying Caretaker. The Maquis ship is destroyed in a battle with the warlike Kazons. To prevent a Kazon aggression against a helpless world, Voyager destroys the space probe. Without the probe, it will take 75 years for Voyager to travel back to Federation space. With the differences between them rendered meaningless by time and distance, The Federation and Maquis crews unite aboard Voyager. Together, they embark on their new mission: to boldly go - home.
