Tanya E. Taylor is a passionate television showrunner|producer|director from Kingston, Jamaica. On her life’s journey, she has worn many hats (often at the same time) Copywriter, Creative Director, Lecturer, Writer, Script Supervisor, Fixer, Editor, Producer, Director. Uniquely left and right brained, she’s known for thinking steps ahead and keeping the big picture in focus while staying devoted to the creative. Smilingly tenacious, Tanya is constantly conquering the unknown while continuously honing her skills.
At her core, she’s still the 5-year-old sitting on the terrazzo tiled floor, too close to the black and white television. Grinning as the station identifier cross dissolves into the Jamaican flag billowing in the wind to the national anthem. The beginning of transmission of the island’s only television channel and the predictable start of the “Secrets of ISIS”. Her love affair with the episodic escapism promised by the small screen began then and has intensified over the decades.
Tanya earned an Advertising degree from FIU and returned to Jamaica where she grew from copywriter into Creative Director within 3 years. After achieving all she believed she could within the advertising industry she chose to leave it behind.
In 2002, her television career officially began, when she was recruited to develop Jamaica’s first kids quiz show. While, writing, producing, directing and editing the series, (essentially showrunning) Tanya also worked on visiting international productions. Some of these credits include: One Love, The Amazing Race, America’s Next Top Model, A Perfect Getaway, Food Paradise International. During her TV/Film career Tanya has been a showrunner and director for several memorable Jamaican series (various genres); Heineken Green Synergy 2010, Me and Mi Kru season 02, Deal or No Deal (Jamaica), Jack Daniels Grill Off, 2 Sisters and Meal.
Since 2015, Tanya has relocated to New York to continue developing global content featuring the Jamaican culture. During this time, she continues to write, produce and direct in the Jamaican commercial world, with her work securing 4 Caribbean Addys and a Jamaican Chamber of Commerce award in the past 2 years.

Production manager An improbable love, the mob and family non-conformity pave the way to laughter in this character-rich story that explores what happens when these worlds collide, landing us smack in the midst of two girls, one gun, and lasagna. Francesca "Frankie" Del Vecchio is adamant about life. Headstrong and passionate, she loves her family, her band, and her fiancé but disagrees with all of them about one thing: Mob Hit, a TV show that symbolizes the fetishizing of Mafia culture that, to Frankie, obscures all the more important aspects of the Italian-American culture she longs to feed her soul. But Frankie's abhorrence of--and her sister Heather's attraction to--Mob culture remain symbolic; that is, until Frankie opens the trunk of a rental car and finds her world turned upside down. In the days that follow, Frankie and Heather meet two people for whom the Mafia isn't a television show, it's their lives. Nicolette Bellafusco manages wedding bands and also happens to be the sophisticated daughter... Written by Mikki del Monico, Toni D'Antonio, Christian Ford, and Mark Dobies
