Alex Harwood is a BAFTA Cymru award-winning film composer, whose films have screened worldwide. Alex is a member of BAFTA Crew.

Graduated from the Royal College of Music (Dip Mus), The Juilliard School (Mmus) and the National Film and Television School (MA)

Recent work includes: Yeti or Not? Feature Documentary for Chanel 4 and Animal Planet, What a Performance-Pioneers of Popular Entertainment – BBC4 Documentary Series, Dancing in Circles – BAFTA Cymru Best Short winner (2015), Bronx Lives (Feature Documentary. Denmark has become his home after spending three years in a children's asylum center, arriving alone as a young boy from Afghanistan. But as Wasi turns eighteen and his application for asylum is rejected, he is forced to leave the country. Fearing for his life in Afghanistan, Wasi flees to Italy, hoping to here obtain a residence permit that will allow him to return to Denmark. The director Michael Graversen has followed the young Wasi for many years. The close relationship between them has given Graversen a unique access to Wasi's life underground in Europe. For Wasi, the dream of one day returning to his friends...
