About Bob

Bob Cahill is from Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia. Inspired at an early age by Saturday morning cartoons, Marvel Comics and classic monster movies, Bob was quick to create his own films by using his father's camcorder. As a teenager, the counter culture movement of grunge music and the liberal presence of Bill Clinton gave Bob the environment he needed to flourish as an artist. After receiving a degree from Temple University in Education, Bob joined the work force and contemplated moving to Los Angeles. He did what so many others do, and put his dream on hold. Ten years later, his first screenplay Look Out, Lou won best feature with the Philadelphia Screenplay Festival. In lieu of his achievements, Bob flew to Los Angeles to meet with production companies and agents. He then moved on to writing thrillers with his second screenplay, Spiral Stairs, which recently won 3rd place in Stage 32's Second Annual Feature Screenplay Competition. It was the only one in the top ten within the supernatural thriller genre. Bob just completed Rising, a screenplay that pays homage to the classic horror movies he loved as a child. He currently resides in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania with his wife and baby boy.
