Charles Beckwith's career started in high school, with over 1700 hours on the air at a Virginia public radio station.
He has been a fashion editorial photographer since 2005, shooting over 700 runway shows in New York and Milan, and training models for a dozen top agencies.
In 2008 he founded modaCYCLE, an avant garde magazine providing some of the first press coverage of today's hottest young designers. During that time he also worked with the Curan Repertory Company as an Off Broadway theater director.
In 2013 he joined the team at Manufacture New York to work on media and events production, serving as General Manager for Launch NYC, the third busiest New York Fashion Week show venue of the Fall 2014 season.
He is currently the CEO of a marketing lab called Fashion Media Center, LLC, as well as producer and co-host of American Fashion Podcast, recently named one of “The Five Fashion And Beauty Podcasts You Need To Be Listening To Right Now” by Huffington Post Style.
He holds a BFA in Creative Writing from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and studied Filmmaking at The University of North Carolina School of The Arts and American University.
