About Clint

Clint Gaige is a West Virginia writer and filmmaker. He recently completed work on a documentary titled "Unintentional Experts" about the Black Vulture problem in West Virginia. Gaige started out in radio and transitioned to film and television in 1999. Realizing that he lacked film school education, he started work on a web series with his wife, Darla, called "Shotgun Mythos". It was a low budget effort, but it was an incredible training ground. While designed for the internet, the show ended up getting picked up by 50 television stations worldwide. The series caught the attention of producers and he then directed a documentary called "Voices of the Holocaust" which has aired on over 200 television stations in over 20 countries. He is the writer/director of independent films; "A Clean Exit", which is still on the festival circuit and has won over 50 awards and "Hell Is Empty" which is also on the festival circuit. He is an accomplished short story writer and novelist and has twice been nominated for The Pushcart Prize for his fiction. He is currently a show runner for West Virginia PBS. He produces and edits "Horse Power" and he directs and produces "Culinary Concerts" which recently won a Telly Award for Variety Programming.
