About Diana

I like to joke that I was “meant to be an actress” because she entered the world in high dramatic fashion. My doctors worked on me for 45 minutes before I started breathing on my own. Diagnosed with cerebral palsy (which mildly affects my speech and gait) around age 2, I grew up conquering adversity and not letting anything stop her from pursuing her dream of being an actress. My life experiences have given me a rich emotional well to infuse into every role I play

I’ve wanted to be an actress ever since can I remember and I made a decision at an early age, that I wouldn’t let adversity stand in the way of me pursuing my goal. I have worked in theater, film and television and was the first actress with a disability (mild cerebral palsy) to obtain a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from California State University Long Beach.

In my everyday life I am a daughter, aunt (to the two most adorable boys on the planet) friend, and co-worker. I choose to be an actress on my REAL LIFE so I can have the opportunity to portray strong and complex women in my REEL LIVES (juror, neighbor, patient, space alien….) where my disability is incidental to the character or storyline. I am committed as an actress to adding another dimension to the diverse images of the multicultural American Scene.

I believe as an actress (who also embraces not being 29) I have something very unique to bring to the diversity table should the right role come along. I also invite you to visit my website . Thank you for your time and consideration.

Miracle Maker (2015)
Film (Short, Comedy, Drama and Family) Actress It's been a rough summer for Francisco, a 12-year-old vacuum cleaner salesman's assistant. Francisco and his uncle travel door to door, vacuuming rug to rug, hoping to sell a vacuum in a land where the pools are drained and the stores are closing. Francisco's yellow suit is way too tight, his uncle is way too desperate, and his dad is so sick he might not make it to September. Weighed down by Twinkies and sadness, it seems like he's hit a dead end. But when he hears about a miracle maker living on the edge of the desert, he puts a plan in place to turn his luck around. Brad's Untitled Restaurant Project (2014)
Film (Comedy) Actress 'Brad's Untitled...' is a wild comedy that is really 8 films in one. It all takes place in a restaurant in a twenty-minute real time. However, during each section we see the other films in the background. With a rewind and a time stamp, we see how the background of one film becomes the lead of another over 90 minutes. The style is built by using one main camera and a dozen hidden cameras that creates a truly unique tapestry of visual storytelling. It all ties together when the audience learns that one person set all of this up for a very funny, but cruel practical joke. It was shot in 3 days for $15K, using 5 diverse directors and the actors from PAI Training. Written by Anonymous

Amnesia: Who Are You? (2014)
Film (Biography and Drama) Actress This film introduces David Kerry, a man who lost his memory after a beating, to the people and life he had prior to his amnesia. However, along the way he learns that the life he had might have been best kept hidden. The audience is pulled into his story and left wondering what would happen if shadows of their life were put on camera for all the world to see. This is a 'faux' documentary that follows a graduate student filmmaker as his thesis project proves to be far more than he ever imagined.
